Goldwinshoeve Vuego x Klein Roderijs Doreth – Gelding, 147,8cm, 2018

What a charming and incredibly talented pony. It was a joy to video him and he was a total superstar to watch. He had never been to the arena we videoed in and honestly did not bat an eyelid at the fact he was somewhere new. This pony has a lot of competition experience and was Dutch Champion at M2 level, won the silver medal at L2 level and won the bronze medal at M1 level. He is a true competition pony and the bigger the atmosphere, the better he performs. In his latest FEI competition he scored a fabulous +68% score in the team test and +71% score in the freestyle. His young age makes him really interesting as he has many years left in top competition and he can give a younger rider a huge boost in confidence because he has already seen so much. He is very level-headed, not at all spooky or sharp and has not reached his optimum level yet. This is a team pony for international competition and one that will certainly be around for many years. The current owner has had him since he was 3 years old and the only reason that is for sale is that she has grown out of him and is too old now to compete him internationally.

About the horses

In principle all the horses we offer have been vetted at some point in their lives. It could be some more recently than others.

The horses are stabled all through Holland. We work with a fantastic selection of breeders, private owners, riders and small production yards.

We generally don’t own the horses that we offer. They are owned by our contacts through out Holland.

When buying a horse

We sometimes specify the exact price of the horse, but some owner’s of the horses don’t want the prices online which is why you will only see a price indication by some horses. If you want an exact price for a horse please contact us directly.

The price of the horse is always quoted excluding our 10% commission so that you always know exactly what you are paying.

In Holland, horses owned by a business have vat added on to the price. In general this is 21%, but for breeding stallions and mares it can be 6%. Privately owned horses are vat free.

We work on a 10% commission basis and the commission is paid for the service that we provide. There is a huge amount of work that happens behind the scenes including building/refining our contacts, videoing the horses, inspecting new horses, going to vettings and organising the whole sales process for our clients from beginning to end.

We work on a basis of trust and will try and advise and support you as best as possible. Obviously, the risk of buying via video is always yours, but we will try and make the whole process as transparant as possible.

Payment for the horse is always done directly to the owner of the horse via (International) bank transfer.

Planning a trip

We will most certainly pick you up at the airport and will also drop you back at the airport for your flight home.

In general that is not necessary as we will take you to see all the horses and also pick you up at the hotel every morning. Should you however come with a larger group or want to add some holiday time to your trip it can be a good idea to hire a car.

We generally tend to book the hotels for our clients as the location of the hotel is relevant to the planning that we make for you. It is, however, always possible for you to book your own hotel should you want to stay somewhere specific.

Absolutely! Holland is a beautiful country and very well worth visiting!

No, you do not need to bring a deposit as we work on a basis of trust with our contacts here in Holland.
