Toto jr x Totilas – Mare, 168cm, 2015

Please ignore the breeding on this mare (!). Her breeder is a huge Totilas fan and so went a bit to town on the mix. This is a talented mare with a lot of really cool things in her portfolio. She does some really awesome GP work already and has very extablished small tour movements, so is a horse that you can get out and compete straight away. Her walk is really big and loose and through her body. Her trot has so many gears to it, which makes her so cool to ride as you can make her as spectacular as you want. Her canter has beautiful collection and her changes are clean and super established. Who would this horse suit? We think she would suit a competant rider with ambition to get to the top. This mare is very work-willing, but also a woman who knows her own mind, so wouldn’t be a horse for a complete amateur wanting to learn the ropes. She would make a very cool junior/young rider or children’s horse!

    About the horses

In principle all the horses we offer have been vetted at some point in their lives. It could be some more recently than others.

The horses are stabled all through Holland. We work with a fantastic selection of breeders, private owners, riders and small production yards.

We generally don’t own the horses that we offer. They are owned by our contacts through out Holland.

    When buying a horse

We sometimes specify the exact price of the horse, but some owner’s of the horses don’t want the prices online which is why you will only see a price indication by some horses. If you want an exact price for a horse please contact us directly.

The price of the horse is always quoted excluding our 10% commission so that you always know exactly what you are paying.

In Holland, horses owned by a business have vat added on to the price. In general this is 21%, but for breeding stallions and mares it can be 6%. Privately owned horses are vat free.

We work on a 10% commission basis and the commission is paid for the service that we provide. There is a huge amount of work that happens behind the scenes including building/refining our contacts, videoing the horses, inspecting new horses, going to vettings and organising the whole sales process for our clients from beginning to end.

We work on a basis of trust and will try and advise and support you as best as possible. Obviously, the risk of buying via video is always yours, but we will try and make the whole process as transparant as possible.

Payment for the horse is always done directly to the owner of the horse via (International) bank transfer.

    Planning a trip

We will most certainly pick you up at the airport and will also drop you back at the airport for your flight home.

In general that is not necessary as we will take you to see all the horses and also pick you up at the hotel every morning. Should you however come with a larger group or want to add some holiday time to your trip it can be a good idea to hire a car.

We generally tend to book the hotels for our clients as the location of the hotel is relevant to the planning that we make for you. It is, however, always possible for you to book your own hotel should you want to stay somewhere specific.

Absolutely! Holland is a beautiful country and very well worth visiting!

No, you do not need to bring a deposit as we work on a basis of trust with our contacts here in Holland.
